Someone has been buggering about with my computer at work, Now the taskbar autohides in Internet Explorer (not in anything else) Autohide (right click on taskbar..properties) is off but it is still doing it.
Also the toolbar is all on one line and I have it draged down so it covers two lines normally, now it won't let me drag it down. The top right hand corner is now black instead of grey.
Any offers? apart from t******* the person that did it
Ta
Edit: Also the bloody search window is open everytime I start IE.

Sorted: I took the drastic step of deleting all the customisable registry keys for IE. I was going to follow this by repairing IE (which I had already tried as a solution beforehand) but It seems to work OK anyway, presumably it rebuilt the keys I deleted.
I know what you mean Ian, but it was buggered. Yes I meant the taskbar not the tool bar (the bit that was disappearing but only when the IE window was open)
and the IE toolbar wouldn't let me expand it at all.
I should have taken a screen shot, it was very odd
Thanks anyway.
