I have been testing a couple of Anti Trojan programs recently.
TrojanHunter and TDS-3.
Thought I`d share my opinions on them.

TrojanHunter does exactly what it says on the tin. It can scan your system for nasties and it has the added security of a real time Trojan Guard. It is pretty straightforward to use. A nice easy interface and it’s pretty quick as well.
If you are looking for easy to use anti trojan protection, then this is the one for you.

TDS-3 is the most sophisticated anti trojan program and is widely regarded as the best anti trojan program in existence. It has (I think), 17 different ways of scanning for nasties, a massive database of known trojans plus daily updates.
The "guard" part of the program is called Execution Protection. It is not actually a running process (which could be shut down by a trojan) but rather a "hook" into windows which picks up exe`s before they start to run and scans them. Very clever.
Unfortunately Execution Protection is not available in the trial version.
As a trojan scanner I would say TDS is the best. But apart from trojan scanning TDS has many other features. It contains numerous network tools and also has a scripting engine, and can even talk to you. (I am not kidding. It can use msagent characters and voice in a Stephen Hawking kind of tone).
The downside of this sophisticated program is that it can be a bit intimidating to new users. The interface isn’t as intuitive and simple as TrojanHunter’s.
Having said that it is simple enough to select Full, Normal or Quick scan, from the System Testing menu if you want to simply use it as a trojan scanner.
So which is best?
I really like TrojanHunter, and highly recommend it. Personally though, it took me just two days to decide to register TDS-3.! I love it.
