free sms messages

What's the best place to send free sms messages?
I've been using lycos but it's a bit crap and messages don't always get through :(

they all are a bit hit and miss depending how many people are using it! - the thing that puts me off lycos now is you get a little 'plug' for nescafe at the end of every message. You might want to try genie, excite or uboot - they're all much of a muchness, see which you like.

I think by far the best is http://www.uboot.com as you can send 160 charaters :)
