Will Sniffout ever make a return?, i see the site has been updated again today with more of the same "we will be returning soon" advice!
Question is Sniffout, when?
Also i had paid Sniffout in advance for a service i have not been able to use, i am due to pay them again on the 18/05 (no chance), so are Sniffout going to refund us the money we had already paid them or use it as payment for the new services when they one day get them launched?, or more likely am i just going to better forgetting my money and Sniffout?

To put your mind at rest e-mail them I did and they assured me that any money oweing can be transfered to which ever service I choose when they go live.
I can understand your concern (I'm in the same boat) that's why I e-mailed them, they DO reply very quickly

I personaly have found sniffout to be the best ISP I've ever had. It was not there fault that BT pulled the surftime access. Since this happened sniffout have not taken a penny from my account and yet I can still access my web space and emails from any other ISP.
I have been in touch with there technical support department and their service should be back on by the end of the month. They will activate each option one at a time to make sure their are no problems. For example they active the standard clasice (0845) dail up. Then if that goes well the next day they activate the DialPlus (0844) and so on.
This is a VERY good idea, I work for the technical support department of an ISP (I will not mention what one) myself. I wish that the ISP I worked for had half as much common sense as sniffout. I ask you this when you were able to connect to them how many problems did you have? I personaly had none and it was the same for all of my friends that I recomended use them.
If they are still charging you then ring them up and Im sure they will be happy to sort that out for you. Maybe I've just been lucky with them, but from the experience I had with them its been great. I would gladly wait a few months for a good service then get a very poor service right now.
Its not that im saying stay on 0845 untill it comes back on.. I personaly have signed up for another isp in the mean time (www.jings.com) but when they are back I will be more than happy to go back over to them.

I too was happy using Sniffout Surftime until the service was discontinued four days into my new quarterly payment. Being unwilling to wait I signed up with another ISP and asked Sniffout for a refund. I eventually received a cheque for the unused portion of my advance subscription. Thank you Sniffout. :)
