It should work with AOL with no changes. Why not try a different a different ISP, or that splendid ADSL system you have :)
Just got to try this

it wouldn't even work with another ISP mate or my ADSL.
but then again since i have upgraded my IE 5.5 to SP1 it seems to work now maybe i should go the whole hog and get IE 6 i had it before and everything worked great just i couldn't be bothered to upgrade at the mo. as i have just getting everything sorted on this pc. now i have to fix the other two.
once i have them two fixed my network will be back online. kind of annying really when i wanna play network gaming with mates who come over, and i can't cos the other computers wont respond to each other. due to some network IP differences or other.
anyway i will be experimenting with LINUX soon enough to see wot the fuss is about. so the network can wait a while.
Just asking to i have networked all my pc's before but is it possible to networck cross operating systems like a windows based pc to a LINUX one or Windows to Mac OS.
anyhelp would be great thanx.

Yes you can mix OS on a network, as long as they all support the same network protocol. TCP/IP is the best one to use as that's what the internet uses. I mix Windows and Linux here.
