N4N Forum o a PDA

The 'new' forum displays better on my PDA but emoticons still do not respond to the 'touch' screen.

Any suggestions?

Hi Geoff. What kind of PDA do you have - and do you know which browser it uses?

This forum is powered by Vbulletin software so in part a solution will probably be dependent upon later releases of their software accommodating other browsers unless we make custom changes, which to be honest is unlikely. We do however keep the latest version of vBulletin running.

The main issue is with so many different browsers its amazing how time consuming such modifications are. We tend to focus on developing for the later editions of Firefox, IE, Safari and Opera and thats quite a mine field!

I am using a rather elderly Qtek 9100 that has Windows Mobile 5 and the browser I use at the moment is IE. The command buttons and everything else seems to work fine using he stylus but it will not pick up the smilies etc. It is the same with other forums as well.

Not a big issue really.
