Does anyone know a good domain name company preferably in U.K, to register a .org They want to spend about £30 a year, they do not need webspace, just the name.

Its a voluntary sector organisation, and they have to be accountable for money.

Any ideas Ta:)

You could try http://www.123-reg.co.uk - not sure of the price though.

Or http://uk2.net

I have many domain registered with them as they are the cheapest I have found. My latest 2 cost about GBP26.00 each after all Core fees, VAT etc have been added on. Do watch out for the addiditonal fees for any of these companies, many don't include the Core/NIC fee's which are payable.

Thanks for your help,

123-reg is £5.78 for 2 years, as Pudds says freeparking is £30.

I have no idea about registering a domain name, why is it one is nearly £25 more than the other?

Cheers Paul,

The additional fees etc is what worries me as its not my money I am playing with, and they have to be accountable for spending as they are a voluntary organisation. They have had to put spending on the minutes.

Can I register and it will run off their webspace no problems? ASP
To make matters worse the secretary has just printed the .org on the letterheadings, and it is not registered! :(

I bought a .net from freparking. £29.99 for two years.
To buy the same at 123 reg it would cost £21.13. These prices are the same for a .org
A .co.uk is £9.99 for 2 years at freeparking.
The same at 123 reg would cost £6.79.
